Midjourney is so damn Hard to learn
Midjourney is what happens when raw imagination meets brutal power. The outputs are insane. The detail is unmatched. The emotion inside the images feels almost human. Out of all the AI art tools, Midjourney still sits at the top of the mountain when it comes to pure visual quality. It knows how to create atmosphere. It knows how to create mood. It knows how to bring concepts to life in a way that almost makes you forget it’s AI.
But here’s the reality. Midjourney is not a beginner tool. It’s not friendly. It’s not intuitive. And it definitely doesn’t care about making your life easy. If you don’t know what you want, it won’t guide you. If you don’t know how to prompt, you’ll drown. There’s no simple button, no “make it better,” no hand-holding system. You either learn the language, or you get mid results. And Midjourney doesn’t apologize for it. Another issue is control. As good as the images are, getting consistent characters is still a struggle. It’s better than before, but it’s not perfect. And because everything is built inside Discord, the workflow can feel messy, especially when you’re trying to scale production or organize multiple styles.
Midjourney is brilliant, but it’s demanding. You get insane results, but only if you bring clarity, patience and direction. If you’re a creator with vision, this is your tool. If you’re someone who wants quick output with minimal effort, you’ll struggle.
